DANE — Blessed Trinity Catholic School (formally known as St. Michael Catholic School) will host a gala in memory of Roseanne Mills on Sunday, May 3, beginning at 6 p.m.
The first annual gala will feature an evening of music, fine dining, and a live auction and a memorial tribute to Roseanne.
Tribute to Roseanne Mills
This event was inspired shortly after the recent passing of Roseanne, a parishioner of Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish, a wife and mother of three children who attended Blessed Trinity Catholic School.
Roseanne was a strong advocate of Catholic education and fostered a love for music in her own children who are talented musicians. The evening will highlight music preformed by Roseanne’s children and several of their classmates.
A live auction will also be held and will feature items such as: a four-pack of tickets to Disney World, Badger sports tickets, a quilt, and a summer pontoon boat ride with Fr. Chad Droessler, pastor of Blessed Trinity Parish.
Proceeds will be deposited into the Blessed Trinity Catholic School Trust Fund, which supports need-based tuition relief and other school expenses.
‘Music and Roses’
The theme of the gala is “Music and Roses.” A prime rib and salmon dinner will be served by parish Confirmation students and will feature a black and white formal dinner atmosphere and red roses on the tables in honor of Roseanne.
The evening will begin with a social hour of drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and live music from 6 to 7 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m., and will be followed by a memorial tribute in honor of Roseanne and a video presentation from the school.
The live auction will begin at 8 p.m. with items presented by St. Michael’s alumni.
