JANESVILLE — The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Rock County/Dementia Care Specialist is presenting a free Alzheimer’s disease and dementia educational series at the Job Center, 1900 Center Ave.
Each program in the series, “Stepping Stones to Understanding Dementia: Diagnosis to End of Life,” is free of charge and begins at 6 p.m. Upcoming installments include:
• “Dementia: Supported” on April 14 with Tammy Pence of Azura Memory Care discussing caregiver stress and Cori Marsh of the ARDC reviewing local resources.• On April 28, “Dementia: Defined” will be presented by Dr. Barbara Bendlin from the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center providing an overview and update on current research.
• On May 12, attorney Wayne Wilson of Wilson Law Group will present “Dementia: Legal and Financial Planning” at 5:30 p.m.
