BARABOO — Adoption and foster care will be the topics addressed on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the upcoming fall gathering of the Sauk County chapter of Wisconsin Right to Life.
The event will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Baraboo First Church of the Nazarene at 1800 Crawford St. on the north side of Baraboo.
Guest speakers for the evening are Rhea Newman, CSW, of Catholic Charities of Wisconsin, talking about “The Option of Adoption,” and Tammy and Bill Johnson of Baraboo speaking about “The Ups and Downs of Being a Foster Parent.”
Following the presentations by the speakers, there will be a short Q and A time so attendees can get more information on these topics.
The evening will end with a short awards presentation.
This is a free community event with coffee and dessert being served.
