MADISON — The St. Thérèse Lecture Series returns with a talk about gender ideology and the Catholic faith.
Theresa Farnan, Ph. D., will present “A Catholic Response to Gender Ideology” on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. at Holy Name Heights, 702 S. High Point Rd. in Madison.
Farnan is an author and moral philosopher who specializes in virtue ethics, moral education, philosophy of the person, gender and sexuality, and ethical issues facing the family.
Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison is pleased to welcome Farnan and The Person & Identity Project to the Diocese of Madison.
In this time of a growing cultural phenomenon to question gender and identity as a human person, there have been families and individuals struggling to understand God’s plan for the human person.
The Person & Identity Project is dedicated to “assisting the Catholic Church in promoting the Catholic vision of the human person and responding to the challenges of gender ideology.”
Parents are especially encouraged to come to learn how to support their children in these trying times
