Cambridge native elected to leadership role with Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi
The congregation of the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi have elected a new leadership team. The new members were installed on June 11 and include: Sr. Joanne Schatzlein, director; Sr. Charlotte Roost, vicar/associate director; and Sr. Sylvia Anne Sheldon, associate director. They will serve a four-year term.
Fr. Mark Foley and Fr. Simon Tipps ordained to the priesthood
The Diocese of Madison welcomed two new priests on May 26. Fr. Mark Foley and Fr. Simon Tipps were ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison during an Ordination Mass at St. Maria Goretti Church in Madison.
