Dear Editor,
Do you remember who said “Whatever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me?” He also said “Thou shalt not kill!” It was the same man that defined marriage as a covenant promise between one man and one woman, for better or for worse, until death do they part.
These words come from His book written hundreds of thousands of years ago and are reaffirmed in the Bill of Rights in the Constitution of the United States of America. We all have a God given right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. However something has gone seriously wrong. In the last 40-some years, over 50 million babies have been sacrificed to the gods of pleasure and convenience.
During some years the people in power have tried to control these numbers with restrictive lows, but the pro-death side has abolished those restrictions. The holocaust goes on. This raises a question we all need to ponder.
If Jesus was a qualified voter living in our beautiful state of Wisconsin in November 2014, who do you think he would vote for?
Remember whatever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me.
