To the editor:
Thank you for publishing Bishop Morlino’s letter concerning the January 20 HHS mandates which violate freedom of religion. Thank you, Bishop Morlino!
As far as I am concerned, this is a wake-up call to Humanae Vitae.
When Humanae Vitae came out in July, 1968, I was preparing for my senior year in Catholic high school.
It was not until 1998, 30 years later, that I first became aware of the full teachings of the Church on virginity, marriage, natural family planning, and abortion and sterilization through pro-life literature.
Every bishop who wrote a letter protesting the HHS mandates is right. Freedom of religion must be protected.
In addition, every Catholic must know their faith/religion and live it and teach it.
Praised be Jesus!
