To the editor:
St. Cecilia Parish in Wisconsin Dells is most appreciative of the diocesan offices for their support during the recent loss of our pastor, Msgr. Felix Oehrlein. These offices were most understanding and truly concerned for our welfare.
We would especially like to thank Bishop Robert Morlino for his presence at the funeral Mass; Msgr. James Bartylla for his daily communications; Msgr. Charles Schluter, the homilist for the funeral; and concelebrants Fr. Arnold Reuter, Fr. Frank Schmidt, and Msgr. John Hebl. Also thank you to Fr. Gregory Ihm, who served as Master of Ceremonies. We were all touched by the significant presence of diocesan priests, the Equestrian Order of the Knights and Ladies of the Holy Sepulchre, and the 4th Degree Honor Guards from the Knights of Columbus.
As our parish begins the healing process, we will look back and remember that Monsignor Felix was a special person, and this was a wonderful testament to his life.
God bless you all!
