To the editor:
The federal government continues to recklessly squander away our tax dollars, leaving future generations to pick up the tab for the irresponsible spending of today. This is infuriating! Our hard-earned money is treated with contempt, and I am very concerned that this practice is leading to the death of the greatest economic system in the history of the world.
Vice President Joe Biden said that to avoid bankruptcy the government must spend MORE money! What is he thinking?! Sadly, this view seems to be shared by a majority of our elected officials.
Would this work at your house? No. And it won’t work on a national scale, either.
If those of us who love America as it was founded do not stand up now and let the politicians know that we have had enough, then we will be just as responsible for the country’s demise as those who are actively bringing about its destruction.
One significant way we can make our voices heard is by voting for candidates who uphold the virtue of fiscal responsibility. Chad Lee is running for Congress in Wisconsin’s Second District and has pledged to do everything in his power to restore accountability and end the big-spending and high-taxation being forced upon us by Tammy Baldwin and many of her colleagues in Washington.
I hope you will visit Chad’s Web site at www.chadleeforcongress.com to learn more about him and sign up for his e-mail newsletter to receive information on upcoming events and appearances throughout the district.
