To the editor:
Did you know that in this 21st century, with the latest modern medical technology, the majority of pre-born human babies are at “high risk?” At “high risk?” Yes, at “high risk.” It’s not from heart disease, diabetes, or any other treatable medical condition.
Many babies are at the “high risk” of never being born. I know this is hard to believe. Especially to each person who has held a newborn baby. Or who has seen the light in the eyes of the mother and father looking at their child/children.
January 22, 2010, marks the 37th anniversary of legalized abortion in our beloved U.S.A. Young adults who are now parents have grown up with what they believe/think is their “right” to choose to kill their unborn baby.
What are you and I doing about this devaluation of human life? What do you do to educate people on the “right to life” of every person, born and pre-born.
It is so crucial/essential/important that we older adults and young adults be a voice for pre-born babies. Please continue praying.
Opportunities for you, in addition to praying in your home, are: Going to an abortion mill in your area, to pray, to witness. You are welcome to come to 10th St. and Broadway in Rockford, Ill., an abortion mill, on Friday, Jan. 22. Many cars with Wisconsin license plates drive into the parking lot of this abortion mill. Special prayers will be said beginning at 7:30 a.m. This will take about an hour.
Following this, you are encouraged/invited to spend an hour in private prayer, wherever you choose, on this “National Day of Penance and Prayer.” South Beloit, Ill., has a beautiful Perpetual Adoration Chapel.
