To the editor:
President Obama campaigned on the issue of eliminating all restraints against abortion. Despite many excellent articles in the Catholic Herald and other Catholic publications and the advice by Bishop Robert Morlino, Catholics voted 54 percent nationally for the abortion candidate. The percentage was even greater in Madison.
Now Catholics are marching against his abortion actions, writing their representatives, and saying pro-life prayers. If Jesus was on earth today, he would be calling Catholics hypocrites rather than scribes and pharisees.
We are soon to lose a pro-choice Supreme Court justice. If Catholics had voted for the other candidate, we would have had an excellent chance of having a pro-life Supreme Court.
