Cathedral concerts
MILWAUKEE -- The Fine Arts Commission of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist announces the following upcoming Wednesday concerts.
Each concert will begin at 12:15 p.m. and last approximately 30 minutes. They are free and open to the public.

Band concerts
MADISON -- Jim Latimer conducts Madison's Capitol City Band in free summer concerts-in-the-park beginning June 9.
Concerts are held each Thursday throughout the summer at Madison's Rennebohm Park at the corner of Regent St. and Eau Claire Ave. Concerts start at 7 p.m. and last one hour.
Those attending are invited to bring a lawn chair and a friend. There's music for all ages and plenty of parking.
This is Jim Latimer's 25th concert season of summer concerts-in-the-park and the volunteer community band that has a "September through May" season each year. His tenure with the Capitol City Band Association is marked not only by increased attendance but cooperation of the City of Madison and the Rennebohm Foundation to improve lighting and conditions at Rennebohm Park.

Taste of the Arts Fair
SUN PRAIRIE -- A Taste of the Arts Fair, hosted by the Sun Prairie Chamber of Commerce, will be held Saturday, June 11.
Featuring over 120 fine crafts and artists with items for sale and display, the Taste of the Arts Fair is held at Sheehan Park, on Linnerud Dr., across from the Sun Prairie Public Library.
The event includes specialty food vendors, a Kid's Kraft area, model railroad display, entertainment, and more. Sheehan Park features plenty of parking and easy access to downtown Sun Prairie.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there is no admission or parking fee. Awards will be given to artists and craft vendors. Art and craft artisans can inquire at the Chamber of Commerce on vendor space availability.
At the Sun Prairie Public Library, a "Georgia O'Keeffe Memories" event which begins at 10 a.m. includes coach tours of O'Keeffe's neighborhood, "Artful Lives" performances, student art display, and a reception.

Olbrich art exhibit
MADISON -- New York artist Elena Kachuro-Rosenberg will display her collection of black and white photographs in the art exhibit "Organic Matter" at Olbrich Botanical Gardens.
The photography exhibit is free and open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Sunday from June 12 to Sept. 4. Gallery Sundays are made possible by a gift from William and Joyce Wartmann.
A reception to meet the artist will be held on Sunday, June 12, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Rosenberg's "Organic Matter" was inspired by the New York Botanical Garden and Wave Hill Gardens.

Historical Museum
MADISON -- In recognition of Robert M. La Follette's birth 150 years ago on June 14, 1855 and his death 80 years ago on June 18, 1925, the Wisconsin Historical Museum presents a selection of objects relating to his life.
Opening on Flag Day, June 14, this exhibit will be on display through July 9.
During La Follette's administration as governor (1901-1906), the Wisconsin legislature adopted the direct primary, introduced a civil service system, reorganized the tax structure, and increased the regulation of corporations.
The Wisconsin Historical Museum is located on Capitol Square at 30 N. Carroll St., Madison. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is by donation, $4 - adult, $3 - child, $10 - family.

Tuesday, June 14, 9 p.m., WHA (PBS) -- Frontline/World. The international news magazine explores one of the world's most pressing security concerns: Are the Iranians pursuing a nuclear bomb? Also featured is the story of the death of a pioneering young journalist in Ukraine that helped spark that country's "Orange Revolution," and probes the corruption that still remains.
