Organ concert
SINSINAWA -- The final concert in the summer organ concert recital series will be given on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. by Dr. Peter Szeibel of Dubuque.

Sweet Corn Festival
SUN PRAIRIE -- The annual Sweet Corn Festival will be held Thursday, Aug. 19, through Sunday, Aug. 22, at Angell Park, near the intersection of Hwy. 19 and Hwy. N.
A parade down Main St. in Sun Prairie begins the festivities at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Sweet corn is available Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 21 and 22, from 12 noon to 7 p.m. Admission is 50 cents; parking is $3 and includes admission.

Youth benefit concert
JEFFERSON -- A benefit concert featuring youth will be held at the Jefferson Area Business Center, 218 Wisconsin Dr. on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 3 until 10 p.m.
A new band will perform every 30 to 45 minutes on two stage areas.
Proceeds will go to the Council for the Performing Arts and Tomorrow's Hope. Admission is $5 or a donation of three food cans for area food pantries. For more information, contact Ryan Rammelt at 262-751-4016 or Tom Torre at 920-674-5706.
Local show Relevant 2 U to debut on Catholic radio
MADISON -- Relevant Radio 1240 AM will debut Relevant 2 U radio show on Friday, Aug. 20, at 9 am.
Hosted by Brian Kelly and featuring homilies and commentary from Bishop Robert C. Morlino, the one-hour magazine-style show will shed light on Catholic issues and events in the Madison area. Relevant 2 U meets an increasing demand from listeners for more localized programming, which is needed to energize the Catholic community.
Relevant 2 U will address a number of topics in the coming weeks. This week's show (Aug 20) features politics, vocations, and Catholic education. Listeners hear reflections from seminarian Eric Sternberg, visit with Rob Marsland of St. Ambrose Academy, and hear the homily for politicians from Bishop Morlino's Red Mass.
Next week's show (Aug. 27) will feature the bishop's address to Serrans regarding vocations; Fr. Jim Bartylla, diocesan vocation director, discussing the ordination of transitional deacons; the Catholic rock band, Oremus, speaking about their Catholic rock music; Sue Gruen talking about a Walk for Life benefit for The Elizabeth House; and Fr. Kevin Holmes discussing the reconstruction of a chapel in Sauk City.
Relevant Radio 1240 AM will air Relevant 2 U on Fridays at 9 a.m., with encores on Saturdays at 5 p.m., and Sundays 9 at a.m.
