Outdoor festival
EAGLE -- Old World Wisconsin's outdoor festival "Midsummer Magic" will be held Saturday, June 19, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $40 and include admission, food, beverages, and entertainment. Reservations are recommended by calling 262-594-2922. Old World Wisconsin is located 1.5 miles south of Eagle on Highway 67 in Waukesha County. You must be 21 to attend.
Art exhibit
MADISON -- A local art exhibit, "Creative Colleagues," will be open to the public June 8 through August 5 at the Gardens Gallery.
An opening reception, Friday, June 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., offers an opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about their work. The Gardens Gallery at the Independent Living Retirement Community is located at 602 N. Segoe Road in Madison. Admission is free.
Mixed media exhibit
SINSINAWA -- "The Arts of Interdependence" mixed media exhibit by Dominican Sisters and Associates will be held in the Sinsinawa Mound Gallery June 13-July 28, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Olbrich Garden gala
MADISON -- People are invited to dine, dance, and drift through candlelit walkways at Olbrich Botanical Gardens' Rhapsody in Bloom Benefit Gala on Saturday, June 26, from 4 to 11:30 p.m.
The event begins at 4 p.m. Dinner will be catered by White Horse Inn and begins at 7 p.m. under white tents.
Tickets for Rhapsody in Bloom are $90 per person or purchase a table of eight for $720. For more information, or to charge reservations by phone, call 608-246-5616. Reservation deadline is June 12.

In this behind-the-scenes documentary, conductor Michael Tilson Thomas takes viewers on a guided tour of one of the towering achievements in classical music, Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4.
