Edgewood recitals
MADISON -- The Edgewood College music department will present three student senior recitals. All recitals are performed at St. Joseph Chapel at Edgewood College and are free and open to the public.
Saturday, April 17, soprano Lindsey Nichols will perform at 7 p.m. She will perform pieces by Handel, Bellini, Bernstein.
Sunday, April 18, pianist Kristopher Gasch will perform at 2:30 p.m. He will perform pieces by Ravel, Mozart, Chopin, Satie, and Brahms.
Tuesday, April 20, saxophonists Jeremy Fuller and Andrew Sawicki will perform at 7 p.m. They will perform selections by Creston, Milhaud, Mingus, and songs featuring the jazz combo and saxophone quartet.

Chorus presents Saul
SINSINAWA -- The Sinsinawa Mound Civic Chorus will present Saul at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 25, in Queen of the Rosary Chapel. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens and children.

Sunday Afternoon Live
MADISON -- Sunday Afternoon Live from the Elvehjem welcomes pianist June Chun on Sunday, April 18, at 12:30 p.m. in Brittingham Gallery III at the Elvehjem Museum of
Art.
Chun's program will consist of works by Bach, Schumann, and Liszt's Sonata in B minor.
There will be a reception after the performance; a free docent-led tour of the Elvehjem Museum begins at 2 p.m.
Sunday Afternoon Live from the Elvehjem is a free weekly chamber music series presented by the Elvehjem Museum of Art and Wisconsin Public Radio, with the cooperation of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Music.
The series, hosted by music commentator Lori Skelton, is broadcast live on Wisconsin Public Radio stations, including WERN, 88.7, Madison.

Charlie Anderson of Cooksville shares his love of gardening and how he has fulfilled his passion despite being almost completely blind. At Rotary Gardens in Janesville, Mark Dwyer gives a tour of some reliable spring bloomers.
