Eighth in a series of documentary films chronicling the history of New York City. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 8 p.m., WHA (PBS) -- Nova: "Why the Towers Fell." For most Americans, the image of the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers on Sept. 11 was not only a scene of unforgettable horror, it was a moment of unimaginable consequence.
