Henry Vilas Zoo Offers Summer Camp ( All Day )

Henry Vilas Zoo, 702 S. Randall Ave., is offering Summer Zoo Camp this summer for children of all ages. Campers enjoy special animal experiences and behind-the-scenes opportunities, while facing scientific challenges that put the campers in the shoes of keepers, vets, or zoo administrators and motivate campers to seek the information to solve real-life problems. Sun Prairie: Bingo ( 4:15 pm )

Knights of Columbus Council 4879 hosts bingo every Monday night, except on major holidays, at The Round Table, 1611 N. Bristol St. Doors open at 4:15 p.m. Food is served from 4:30 through intermission. Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. with second set beginning at 7:30 p.m. Progressive game begins about 8:30 p.m.

Sinsinawa Organ June Concerts ( 7:00 pm )

Mark Brampton Smith, the organist at Grace Episcopal Church, Madison, will perform at Sinsinawa Mound's Summer Organ Concert on Wednesday, June 19, at 7 p.m.
Bamptom Smith has served on the music staff of churches in seven states. A prize winner in several national organ competitions, he has given solo concerts in numerous churches and auditoriums, including Madison's Overture Hall.
Sr. Patricia Gallagher will be the featured organist for the Wednesday, June 26, 7 p.m. Summer Organ Concert.
Joining her will be a vocal group led by Sr. Anita Smisek. The music for the program will be based on Gregorian chant melodies, with a chant sung before each piece is played.
Sister Patricia currently assists with music at the Sinsinawa Dominican Motherhouse and St. Dominic Villa.

Sinsinawa Summer Organ Concerts ( 7:00 pm )

Peter Szeibel of Dubuque will play the opening concert of Sinsinawa Mound's 2019 Summer Organ Concert series on Wednesday, June 5, at 7 p.m.
Concerts featuring various guest musicians will be held Wednesdays throughout June, July, and August, except for July 17 and 24.
Szeibel began playing organ for church services at age 12 in New York City, where he studied piano and organ at the precollege division of the Juilliard School. He has served as church organist for numerous denominations and composed works for organ, harpsichord, piano, and voice.   
Bruce Bengtson, Madison, will play at the June 12 concert at 7 p.m. Recently retired as director of music at Luther Memorial Church,  Madison, he continues to play services and concerts and accompany vocalists and instrumentalists.
The organ series will also feature: Mark Brampton Smith (June 19); Sr. Patty Gallagher (June 26); Jillian Gardner (July 3); Ann Marie Rigler (July 10); Michael Emmerich (July 31); Karen Black (August 7); Jeff Verkuilen (August 14); David Jonies (August 21); and Aaron David Miller (August 28).

Madison: Organ Recital ( 7:00 pm )

On every Thursday during June, July, and August (except for July 4), the Diocese of Madison will host recitals by some of the Midwest's finest organists.
The concerts are free (freewill offering accepted) and open to all. All programs begin at 7 p.m. in the air-conditioned Holy Name Oratory, at Holy Name Heights, 702 S. High Point Rd.
The remaining June organists include:
• Thursday, June 13: Kevin Edens, Christ the King Lutheran Church in Iowa City, Iowa.
• Thursday, June 20: Michael Mills, St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center at the University of Kansas.
• Thursday, June 27: Don VerKuilen, St. Rocco Catholic Church, Cleveland, Ohio.
The organists will play on the Schmelzer pipe organ, which was commissioned to be built by the Aeolian-Skinner Organ Company in  1949. The organ was installed in the Holy Name Oratory in 2017 after being obtained from Kenosha's First Congregational Church.

Theater Bus Plans May And June Trips ( All Day )

The Theater Bus for persons 55 and over will be traveling to the following events in May and June:
• Thursday, May 16 -- Mamma Mia at The Palace Theater in Wisconsin Dells.  This musical features ABBA's pop songs and dazzling dance numbers. Lunch is included at the theater. Cost is $85. Deadline is April 12.
• Sunday, May 19 -- Dearly Departed at the Wisconsin Rapids Community Theater.  Enjoy this laugh-out-loud comedy. Lunch is included at Ridges Golf Club. Cost is $78. Deadline is April 16.
• Sunday, June 9 -- Jeeves Intervenes at the Attic Theater in Menasha. This delightful British romp is sure to entertain with its vivid wordplay and dry humor sugar-coated insults. Lunch is at the Ridgeway Golf Club in Neenah. Cost is $82. Deadline is April 18.
• Sunday, June 23 -- But Why Bump Off Barnaby mystery at the Waukesha Civic Theater. Lunch is included at the Oconomowoc Golf Club. Cost is $81. Deadline is June 3.
