Sinsinawa: Exhibition ( All Day )

The Sinsinawa Art Gallery will host "Studium: Edgewood College Art Department Faculty Exhibition" August 3 through September 29. A reception will be held Sunday, Sept. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m. Ten faculty members of the Edgewood College Art Department, Madison, will display their works of mixed media. Edgewood College is a sponsored institution of the Sinsinawa Dominicans. Beloit: Fall Festival ( All Day )

Our Lady of the Assumption Parish will hold its Fall Festival Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29 and 30, at 2222 Shopiere Rd. The festival will begin on Saturday at 6 p.m. with a cook-out in the beer tent as well as children's games and activities. Gary the Band will play from 7 to 10 p.m. Bidding on items at the silent auction will open in the gym on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. (see website for items at olabeloit.com). On Sunday, there will be an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast in Assumption Hall from 8 to 11 a.m. The silent auction will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The beer tent will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a football party, burgers, hot dogs, and children's activities. Raffle tickets will be sold.

Baraboo: Breakfast ( 8:00 am - 11:30 am )

Knights of Columbus Monsignor O'Reilly Council 746 will hold a pancake breakfast on Sunday, Sept. 30, at St. Joseph School, 310 Second St., from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Profits will be donated to the Women's Care Center in Madison.

Fitchburg: Breakfast ( 8:00 am - 11:30 am )

Knights of Columbus Council 4527 will hold a bountiful breakfast on Sunday, Sept. 30, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Catholic Multicultural Center West, 5256 Verona Rd. The expanded buffet features scrambled eggs, ham, French toast, and corned beef hash. Proceeds will benefit the Our Lady Queen of Peace School class of 2019.




Highland: Celebration ( All Day )

Knights of Columbus (K of C) Highland/Montfort Council 1909 will have a 100-year celebration starting on Sunday, Sept. 30, with the 9 a.m. Mass at SS. Anthony and Philip Church. A brunch will follow in the church lower level, with the council receiving an award from the K of C state deputy.




Theater Bus September Events ( All Day )

The Theater Bus for persons 55 and over will be traveling to the following events in September:
• Sunday, Sept. 16 -- The Man Who Came to Dinner comedy at Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove. Lunch is at Schwefel's in Oconomowoc. Cost is $76.
• Sunday, Sept. 30 -- Miss Holmes, presented by the Menomonee Falls Patio Players, is a classic timeless Sherlock Holmes mystery with one twist: Holmes and Watson are both women. Lunch is at Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee. Cost is $71.

Madison: Oktoberfest ( 12:00 - noon - 5:00 pm )

Blessed Sacrament Parish will hold its second annual Oktoberfest on Sunday, Sept. 30, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at 2121 Rowley Ave. It will feature local beer, food, and live music with the Mike Schneider Polka Band and Wheelhouse. Admission is free. Visit blsacrament.org for more information.
